在追求自我表达与独特审美的时代,我们手中的鼠标却始终被标准化模具所定义。无论设计如何贴合人体工学,量产产品只能服务于大多数人的使用习惯,总有一部分用户在握持中感到不适或欠缺,这催生了大量高门槛、效果受限的 DIY 客制化改造行为。针对这一普遍存在的“个性化缺口”,本项目推出 “The Mouse”个性化定制鼠标系统 ,旨在打破传统鼠标的标准化造物逻辑,实现由用户行为数据驱动的独一无二鼠标形态共创。

To meet users’ demand for personalized mice, we introduce “The Mouse” personalized custom mouse system: In an era of pursuing self-expression and unique aesthetics, the mouse in our hands has always been defined by standardized molds. No matter how ergonomically a design may be, mass-produced products can only accommodate the usage habits of the majority, leaving some users experiencing discomfort or a sense of deficiency while holding the device. This has given rise to numerous DIY customization modifications that are often high‑threshold and limited in effectiveness. Addressing this common “personalization gap,” this project launches “The Mouse” personalized custom mouse system, aiming to break the standardized logic of traditional mouse creation. By employing parametric design and topology optimization, along with on‑demand 3D printing production, it enables the co‑creation of unique mouse morphologies driven by user behavior data.
